I was looking at my post from a year ago thanksgiving, that’s when I was about two months into coaching, a baby coach who wants to keep herself accountable on her journey while helping other women to do the same.
Fast forward a year later, my passion and fire have grown so much stronger, and I can’t believe how much I have accomplished in the last 12 months.
If there was one thing that I didn’t expect seeing, it was writing my very first book.
In the beginning, my intention wasn’t writing a book on a diastasis recti. But I knew I want to comprise something of what I have learnt through my own experience from the past three years.
Having gone through twice severe diastasis recti, I know how lonely the feeling is. The feeling when you have to cut the elastic band of your shorts so you can fit in. The feeling why it happens to me but none of my friends.
The feeling when people ask you, “when are you due?” I truly feel the pain you are going through right now.
Many of the trainers you have come across have no personal experience, they were never a mom, or they are moms but do not have severe diastasis recti. Some of them fixed the belly with the tummy tuck surgery.
They teach you based on theory, based on what other people have been doing in the last decade, but they don’t understand what it is really like when you are in the trenches.
As I started writing, I couldn’t control myself but to share my entire journey. I want to share what I have discovered and put it in a system, so any mom will find it easy and straightforward to follow.
If you are reading this on the other side of the screen, I am here with you. Don’t give up.
Because if I am a mom who had never been to the gym her entire life, didn’t know what the heck she was doing after the first pregnancy, hot mess express with two babies…. And still able to lose weight and heal diastasis, you can do it too.
